Requirements:

• Saitek DirectOutput Driver 64Bit Version 7.0.40.0 or newer. Recommended: 7.0.47.1
• SimConnect must be enabled within SPAD.neXt

By default SPAD.neXt will manage the DirectOutput Services. It will try to start it if it's not running and shut it down when exiting.

If you do not want this behavior, you can change it in Settings→Application “Manage DirectOutput Services”

If you want to have the DirectOutput Service managed by SPAD.neXt, you can safely change the startup mod of the service to “manual”, but make sure SPAD.neXt has the necessary rights to start it.

The FIP Support is 100% compatible with Saitek implementation, even the bugs haven been implemented. For your reference the Saitek gauges come with the SPAD.neXt installation. (Directory Gauges\Saitek , File Saitekgauges.snz , if desired you can unzip that file )

Also 3 commercial gauges are provided as demos.

SPAD.neXt implementation add some new possibilities to the gauges. If you are a gauge developer see SPAD.neXt Gauge Extensions for details.

The Pro Flight Yoke is supported now. Exception: The pitch and aileron axis are not active yet. If it's needed they will be activated later. To be able to use the mode shifting, you will need to make a manual change to your system. You will see a warning if this change needs to be made.

An update to support the Cessna Yoke will follow this weekend.

The Yoke Quadrant and separate USB Quadrant are fully supported now (including mode shifting for the Yoke one) You can assign actions to all buttons and the 3 axis'

A feature has been added to change the frequency of LVAR updates. Currently you have to edit the file “conf/lvars.xml” manually. Add a line

<LVAR Key="_NAME_OF_LVAR" Frequency="NUMBER" />

to the file. The default frequency is 1000ms ( 1 update per second ). The smallest value allowed is 200ms. Be aware that this can have an impact on the performance of the sim! Only change the Frequency for LVAR that really need to update more often ( e.g. for gauges )

Please make sure that the sim is loading the most current version ( 1.0.4 ) of the SPAD.neXt Simulator Bridge, else LVAR will no longer work.

For all Panels local variables have been added for the switches, which you can use all over SPAD.neXt or in gauges.
