Fixing P3D/FSX crash on startup when LVAR Bridge is installed
- Open regedit
- Goto the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
- Delete the key “<PATHTOFSX>\\fsx.exe”=“$~ RUNASADMIN IgnoreFreeLibrary<SPDBRIDGE.dll>”
- Delete the key “<PATHTOP3D>\\p3d.exe”=“$~ RUNASADMIN IgnoreFreeLibrary<SPDBRIDGE.dll>”
- If you would like to run FSX/P3D as an administrator you need to activate that again as you removed that in step 3/4.
