cessna yoke and panel problem

Post by Nelson » 07 Sep 2016, 19:32

hi guys.

a strange thing happened.

w10 made some updates yesterday and now the green led's of my cessna yoke, the pan viewer and the button left/right on the left side don't work, everything else works.

on the multi-switch buttons panel, only the taxi light on/off and the panel light on/off don't work.

any ideas??

thanks

Struck by "Saitek Drivers are no longer Win10 Compatible/Signed"
The update has uninstalled the current Saitek Driver and not be able to install a new one.
You should see an unrecognized device in the Devices Manager.
In this case ( happen to me almost every day, since i'm on W10 Fast-Ring ) you will have to install and assign the driver manually.

1. Download the current driver ( ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/ ... rivers.exe )
2. EXTRACT it using WinZip or 7Zip or something equal
3. Go to "Pro_Flight_Cessna_Yoke_7_0_47_1_x64_Drivers\Inf\Pro_Flight_Cessna_Yoke_Saitek_0BD3" in Windows explorer
4. Right-Click the file "Sai0BD3.inf" , select "Install"
5. Open Device-Manager right click the unrecognized Device , "Browse for driver" , "Select from list ..." , select the "SAITEK .... (USB)"

Should fix the problem

i will disassemble the yoke to see all the connectors inside, must be a hardware problem.

Might also be a USB-Power problem.
