Re: Arduino controler

For what it's worth.... I'd like to keep any instrument enclosures on the small(ish) side. One of Ulrich's choice in Arduinos is the Arduino Mega2560 R3. No question, it's much better than the Arduino UNO. I just don't like the size. So I found the New Small Meduino Mega2560 R3 Pro Mini ATMEGA16U2 F...

Re: Arduino controller - Building a GPS

So you guys are using an independent USB monitor for this? What brand and how much? I used the Makerfire 7-Inch. Raspberry Pi LCD Display Screen TFT Monitor with HDMI VGA Input Driver Board Controller DIY . It was $40, now $42. As the title states - HDMI and VGA. There are a lot of options out ther...

Re: Arduino controler

Another thought.

The motor for a "stick shaker" would be no problem. I have plenty of spare computer fans. I also have a 6 inch USB desk fan with plenty of power. The desk fan would probably be the more robust.

Re: Arduino controler

I'd be happy with almost any one of them. Even if it's only a one or two, we can start dreaming up uses. And as I prefer the small GA aircraft one or two would probably give me everything that I'd want. Or maybe not. :D On the way home from work I was thinking how much fun it would be to make a stic...

Re: Arduino controler

Been sick for a while, so I'm late getting back here. I don't have much time, so I'll try to keep it short. My interests are getting a few (2, maybe 3) 7 segment displays up and running. I'd also like to make an O M I (Outer, Middle, Inner) marker display. Most of the planes that I like are of the l...

Re: Arduino controler

I've been trying my luck with MobiFlight and the Arduino UNO. The 7 segment display does work, but I'd rather use something much smaller like the Pro Micro, which is listed on that page. Unfortunately, he's pretty much dropped any support for the Pro Micro. At this point, I think that Ulrich has too...

Re: Arduino controler

It may have to do with the Arduino (a Pro Micro), or the software from Instructables - Arduino Leonardo/Micro As Game Controller/Joystick

Re: Arduino controler

Time to re-edit post is too short for people like me.

"If I use this I get an error when I try to compile it."

Also "the code that you sent" should be corrected to "the code in your attachment".

Re: Arduino controler

Sorry, David. I've been enjoying the new P3d V4, playing around with Air Manager V3, and making an interesting Arduino alarm using a Microwave Motion Sensor (doppler radar) . I've just set up a spare Pro Micro and tested the code that you sent - No problems noted. However this may be where your prob...

Re: Arduino controler

Thanks, greatly appreciated. I should have time this weekend to try it out. I'm working with a beta version of Air Manager V3. Essentially, it puts instruments on a monitor(s), either singularly or in groups (a panel). YiNC8oTHpUs My thought is to build a monitor frame with imbedded switches, encod...
